A West Palm Beach Art Oasis - Ann Norton Sculpture Garden

Ann was born in Selma, Alabama and went on to attend Smith College and then settled in New York City. She was determined to become an artist. Her visions included Cubism and Art Deco styles. During her lifetime she exhibited in New York, Florida, France and Italy. In 1942, she became the first instructor of sculpture at the Norton Gallery and School of Art and in 1948 she married the museum’s founder, Ralph Hubbard Norton. He died in 1952, and Ann set up a foundation for the perpetual maintenance of this home on 2.5 acres which became this permanent green oasis of art, wildlife, subtropical trees and plants.

Here is what caught my eye, I hope you enjoy!
