For centuries, Naples was passed from empire to empire and many different cultures occupied the region. There are castles and palaces, monuments, statues and a shopping gallery. The city’s historic district is on the UNESCO World Heritage Site list. Naples is in a rebirth and is seeing a significant increase in tourism.
