Rockport, Massachusetts, is a charming seaside town with a unique blend of coastal beauty, artistic charm and New England hospitality. It is was founded in 1840 and is located directly east of Gloucester on the tip of Cape Ann. It is known for its picturesque harbor, art galleries, and historic homes and buildings. The town’s vibrant arts community has a number of galleries with regional and local artist’s work on display. Rockport's downtown area is filled with cute little shops and boutiques.
