Three Towns On The Cape - Woods Hole, Wellfleet & Sandwich, MA

Sandwich is the oldest town on Cape Cod and one of the oldest in the United States. The town has classic New England architecture, a charming village center, and many historic homes, churches, and other buildings that date back to the 17th and 18th centuries. During the 19th century, Sandwich was a major center for glass production. The Sandwich Glass Company produced high-quality glassware since 1825, and became well-known and collectible. Sandwich also has beautiful beaches, marshes, and the iconic Sandwich Boardwalk.

Wellfleet, is known for its natural beauty, beaches, artsy vibe, and rich maritime history. With a vibrant arts and cultural scene, Wellfleet has galleries, art studios, and the Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater. The Wellfleet Drive-In Theater is a nostalgic piece of Americana, and is one of the few remaining drive-in movie theaters in the country.

Woods Hole is a small village with a town center along the water. It is located at the southwestern tip of Cape Cod, and is known for its scientific community, natural beauty, and maritime activities. Woods Hole also has the main ferry terminal for those traveling to Martha’s Vineyard.
