9th Century Duomo - Amalfi Duomo & Museum

This Duomo creation started in the 9th and 10th centuries and has been added to and redecorated several times incorporating many different architectural styles including Gothic, Baroque, and Byzantine. It is dedicated to the apostle St. Andrew whose relics are kept here.

What you should know:

  • Entrance to the Duomo is free of charge.

  • The adjoining Museum charges an entrance for of 3 Euro.

  • Tickets can be bought for the museum in person.

  • Public restrooms are available in the museum.

  • Check website for operating days and hours.

  • You could spin an hour or two here.

  • The staff are friendly and informative, and most speak English.
