A Park With A Past - Islip Grange

The Islip Grange is a 12-acre park in Sayville, N.Y. It was founded in 1974, and contains a number of Long Island period structures that were moved here to represent a typical pre-civil War Long Island hamet.

  • Picnicking is allowed.

  • You could spend a couple of hours exploring here.

  • There are normally no guided tours or access to the buildings.

  • Check website for special events including a farmers market.
