Germany’s Capital & Largest City - Berlin
Berlin is a diverse city with a vibrant culture scene. It has both new and historic architecture, monuments and memorial sites commemorating the city’s unique history. The city is the home of three UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and claims to be the only European city to have more museums (175) than rainy days (average 99).

What you should know:
The current used is the Euro (EU).
Walking in the Berlin is easy, and the city has good public transport system.
The Hop-On Hop-Off bus is a great way to get the lay of the land.
Berlin states that it has the most modern public toilet system in Germany and one of the largest in Europe.
You could spend a couple of hours to a couple of days exploring the city.
People are friendly and helpful; many speak English.
You will need a valid passport and a travel power adapter if you are from the US.
When tipping, 10% is considered appropriate.
Overall the city is safe, but pickpocketing is somewhat of a common problem. Just be mindful.
There are many restaurant and entertainment options.
