Outdoor Sculpture Garden in Windsor, NY - Storm King
Storm King Art Center is a 500-acre outdoor museum that has been in operation since 1960. The center got its name from the nearby Storm King Mountain. There are 100+ sculptures installed here among the beautiful landscape of the Hudson Valley. Storm King is said to contains what is said to be the largest collection of contemporary outdoor sculptures in the United States. There are about ten miles of walking trails that take you through the exhibits in the open-air museum.

What you should know:
Picnicking is allowed in the designated picnic spots.
There are about 10 miles of walking trails all through the property, be prepared to walk.
Wear comfortable shoes.
They offer driving tours for visitors who need an alternate to walking the grounds.
One price includes parking and admission.
Tours are mostly self-guided.
You could spend a couple of hours to an entire day here.
