The Eternal City - Rome, Italy
Rome is the capital city of Italy, and is known as the Eternal City because it its ancient history. It is a mix of amazing architecture, history, archeology, incredible art, religious culture, all while maintaining a small-town charm.
Back in the day, architects, painters and sculptors came to Rome to create the city you will see today. Thankfully, it has not gentrified.
I saw first-hand the things I have always heard about like St. Peter’s Basilica, Vatican City, the Sistine Chapel (which did not allow photography), Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum, the Pantheon and the Spanish Steps are all here.
Here is what caught my eye, I hope you enjoy!
