The Largest Cathedral In Ireland - St. Patrick’s Cathedral

St. Patrick’s is the National Cathedral of the Church of Ireland and dates from 1230 and over the centuries it has experiences and survived wars, revolutions and reformation. The 16th and 17th centuries saw religious reform sweep across Europe. The Cathedral’s denomination changed several times in this period before ultimately remaining Angelican. Many of the stained glass windows date from the late 1800’s or early 1900’s. Each window looks different because there were different artists and companies involved in their creation.
