They Changed Their Flag 70 Times During The Civil War - Old Town Winchester, Va

Winchester was a strategic prize during the Civil War and famously changed it flag about 70 times during the battle. Union one week, Confederate the next.

Old Town Winchester is a 45-block long registered historic district located in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Strolling down the Loudoun Street pedestrian walking mall you will discover a variety of charming centuries-old architecture. There is also variety in the area businesses, unique shops and vibrant neighborhood restaurants.

Here is what caught my eye. I hope you enjoy!
