Tobacco Central - Durham NC
For decades, The American Tobacco Campus and the city of Durham were one of the busiest industrial centers in the country. When the tobacco industry ended in Durham, there needed to be re-invention. The American Tobacco Historic District is without a doubt an interesting reuse of a former industrial site. It now contain office space, as well as the home of other businesses including restaurants and bars. There is plenty of outdoor space to admire the architecture and people watch. The complex is complimented by multiple waterfalls, a giant water feature running through it, and an old train car sitting on a track.
Here is what caught my eye, I hope you enjoy it!
