UNESCO Global Geopark In Ireland - Cliffs Of Moher

The cliffs are visually spectacular against the Atlantic Ocean. The cliffs were formed over 320 million years ago and today form part of the Burren and Cliffs of Moher UNESCO Global Geopark.

What you should know:

  • There are mostly paved pathways you can walk.

  • You can spend an hour or two here, depending on how much walking you want to do, and your level of interest in the visitor center, it could be up to 4 hours.

  • You can purchase you admission on-line or in person.

  • Public restrooms are available.

  • Picnicking is allowed, and there is also indoor dining space.

  • Phone charging stations are available.

  • There are loaner binoculars and picnic blankets available.

  • The admission fee includes parking and the museum.

  • Check website for days and hours of operation, and if there are any special events.

  • The site is dog-friendly.
