A National Museum of Adornement - Oudayas Museum

Created in 1915, the Oudayas Museum is one of the oldest public museums in Morocco, and contains one of the largest museum collections in the country. The museum is housed in the Oudayas Kasbah, today a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which was originally built as a fort by the Almoravids, during the 10th–12th centuries, on the cliff overlooking the Bouregreg estuary. Throughout its history the Oudayas Kasbah has been a few things before becoming the museum it is today. Initially started as private collections, new acquisitions have been added over the years. It showcases a diverse collection of over 800 pieces, including jewelry, caftans, and accessories from various regions and eras of Moroccan history. There are collections of manuscripts, coins, astrolabes, carpets, cabinetry, weapons from the Islamic period.

This is what caught my eye; I hope you enjoy!
