Historic Lakeside Canada - Niagara On The Lake, Ontario, Canada

This picturesque old town is filled with charm with century-old buildings, horse-drawn carriages and a walkable historic district with lush flowering gardens lining the street. Located about 17 miles from the New York’s Niagara Falls State Park, it is the perfect day outing during your Niagara Falls trip. Yes, Niagara On The Lake is know for its pretty town, but also the area boasts about 40 wineries which can also be visited.

What you should know:

  • There are walking trails.

  • You could spend a couple of hours to an entire day.

  • On the street parking, some metered, and parking lot options are available. Be sure to check posted parking regulations signs.

  • There are many restaurant options.

  • You will need a passport and any other credentials needed when crossing into Canada from the United States.
