Prince Edward Island’s Historic Fishing Village - Victoria-By-The-Sea

To get to Prince Edward Island you need to cross the 18-mile Confederation Bridge from New Brunswick. Prince Edward Island is named the “gentle island” because of it’s prettier and more pastoral than the the other provinces. The smallest province is mostly flat and has rich soil for the thriving farming industry.

Victoria by the Sea was founded in 1819 and by the late 1800’s became an important seaport. It is a picturesque fishing town, with a lighthouse, tucked away on the south shore of Prince Edward Island. Today Victoria by the Sea attracts visitors with its seaside charm, shops, restaurants, a relaxed atmosphere.

Here is what caught my eye, I hope you enjoy it!
